Project 2 is due in 8 days and I am redoing my entire idea. Not that I was entirely sure what I wanted to do in the first place.. I took pictures of my newborn niece over the weekend. These photos are by Kennedy Garrett. I like the idea of the first one, I've always been interested in seeing landscapes on any surface (bodies, bedsheets, etc.) but that doesn't fit this assignment very well. I was thinking of painting on my friends’ faces and working with that. Not a tribal thing, more like a fantasy thing. Making them into animals. I like to approach ideas more playfully and subtly in my work. After seeing the images in class from lecture, I decided I really just need to spend today researching before I dive into it.
